     Carlos is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern Maine. He is certified by the American Translators Association for translations from English to Portuguese, and interprets regularly for the Federal and State Courts in Maine.      Berenice holds a Baccalaureate Degree in Biology from São Paulo State University. She has conducted graduate studies in microbiology and environmental engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos and the University of São Paulo respectively. She is also a member of the ATA.
